AAH Advisor Alix Jules from the Dallas – Ft. Worth Coalition of Reason speaks about the forthcoming billboard.
Alix Jules is proud to share a billboard with the writer Langston Hughes.
"When I read his works, look at his critiques of society, politics, the role of religion in the black community, I realize that I share a lot of the same values," Jules said.
Jules recalled something that Hughes (1902-67) wrote about being at a revival where "everything that people said they were feeling, or that he should have been feeling, he never felt. That's me!"
