Secular People Of Color: Indianapolis
Where atheists, agnostics, ignostics, deists, skeptics, nonbelievers, naturalists, freethinkers, and questioning people of color can support each other.
The mission of the Secular People of Color of Indianapolis is to create and maintain a space in which black humanists, freethinkers, skeptics, atheists, deists, agnostics, ignostics, nonbelievers, secular theists of color and their allies can:
(1) safely converse about ideas and issues of interest,
(2) pro-actively anticipate, alleviate, and combat demands on such persons to submit to dogmatic religious and anti-intellectual social pressures,
(3) find competent mentors to assist in them in their business and social entrepreneurial endeavors, and
(4) organize into groups both for their mutual enrichment and advancement of the common good.
SPOC-Indianapolis is a proudly QUILTBAG-friendly organization.
